Terms of Service
Last updated: May 1, 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using CertBell(“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service description
CertBell is a reminder tool for tracking license, permit, and certification expiration dates. You add data about your licenses and we send you email and browser push notifications before they expire.
CertBell is not legal advice. We do not verify your license data, monitor regulatory requirements on your behalf, or guarantee that reminders will be delivered. You are solely responsible for renewing your licenses on time and complying with all applicable laws.
3. Account responsibilities
You are responsible for: (a) the accuracy of the information you enter, (b) maintaining the confidentiality of your password, and (c) all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans renew automatically each billing period (monthly or annual) at the displayed price. You can cancel anytime through the billing portal; your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial months.
Free trials end automatically on the date shown in your settings. No charge will be made unless you choose to subscribe.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source code;
- Upload malware or attempt to disrupt the Service;
- Resell or sublicense access without our written consent.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, that reminders will be delivered, or that the Service will meet your specific requirements.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CertBell is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost revenue, fines, penalties, or work stoppages arising from missed license renewals. Our total aggregate liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, your data is deleted within 30 days.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
